Beth Chucker is from the Washington, DC area. She received a BFA from The Corcoran College of Art and Design. In 2000, Beth moved to Los Angeles, where she achieved her second BFA from Art Center College of Design with Honors. In 2009, she achieved her third degree, a MFA from ICP- Bard in NYC. Beth Chucker in 2010 curated a show at Icon Projects called Finding Family. Her work was selected by Kira Pollack, Time Magazine’s Director of Photography (Now Creative Director at Vanity Fair), to show in Center of Photography Woodstock: Photography Now, in April 2013. She taught photography and did freelance in Los Angeles. Now she works from home in Montclair, NJ, is raising 8 year old twins, and making new images.
